The College of Education for Women Council Holds its Fifth Meeting for the 2025-2026 Academic Year

On Tuesday, November 17, 2025, the College of Education for Women Council held its fifth meeting for the academic year 2025-2026, chaired by the Dean of the College, Prof. Athmar Shaker Majid Al-Shatri, and attended by the members of the Council.

The Council discussed a number of important issues, foremost among which was the Dean’s order to the heads of academic departments and teaching staff to adopt automation and digital transformation systems and keep pace with technological developments in all divisions, units and departments, while emphasising the development of their capabilities and preparation as future academic leaders capable of contributing to the development and advancement of society.

Likewise, the Council hosted Ms. Nibras Amer Mohammed, head of the technology and information unit, who gave a presentation on the mechanisms for activating scientific activities for teaching staff, introducing the Indico platform in line with current requirements, as well as the mechanism for publishing scientific research within the faculty’s digital repository.

The meeting also included a discussion of administrative and academic matters relating to students and teaching staff.
