Department of Geography was established in 1984. The department offers a bachelor degree in human and physical geography. The first generation of graduates consisted of 30 students, and they earned their bachelor degree in 1988. Graduate programs started in 1995. The first master’s degree and doctorate degree were awarded in1997 and 2007 respectively. The department prepares students to pursue a teaching career and lead the future. Students’ skills are sharpened to work in the field of scientific research and development.
