Department of Sociology at the College of Education for Women was established in 1998. The department offered the first Master’s degrees in 2006. The academic staff integrates theory and practice in teaching students to produce sociologists who have solid knowledge and skills at work. Career opportunities for sociology majors are limitless. Sociologists are employed in educational institutions, Ministry of Labour and Social affairs, public health and welfare organizations, and Ministry of Justice.
