President of the University of Baghdad Visits the College of Education for Women and Praises its Academic and Service Progress
Al-Shattri confirmed that the President’s visit represents a supportive step for the academic journey of the College of Education for Women and reflects the university presidency’s commitment to monitoring the scientific, administrative, and service-related realities.
On the morning of Wednesday, May 20, 2026, the College of Education for Women welcomed a visit from the President of the University of Baghdad, Professor Dr. Alaa Abdul Hassan Attitya Al-Zughaibi, accompanied by the Assistant President for Scientific Affairs, Professor Dr. Suhail Najm Abdullah, and the Head of the Media and Government Communication Department, Dr. Harith Mohammed Ibrahim.
They were received by the Dean of the College of Education for Women, Professor Dr. Athmar Shakir Majeed Al-Shattri, and the Assistant Dean for Administrative Affairs, Professor Dr. Ahmad Hashim, in an academic atmosphere filled with warmth and appreciation.
During the visit, the University President praised the significant efforts exerted by the college administration in developing the university environment, as well as the prosperity, progress, and academic and scientific diversity witnessed by the College of Education for Women, in addition to its continuous commitment to providing a suitable environment for female students.
He also commended the distinguished efforts made by the Services Division and its effective role in maintaining the college’s beauty and organizing its facilities in a manner that reflects the prestigious image of the University of Baghdad.
The visit included an inspection tour of the examination halls to review the progress of examinations and identify the most important requirements and services provided to students, ensuring an appropriate examination environment.
This visit comes within the framework of the University of Baghdad presidency’s commitment to following up on the academic, administrative, and service conditions across the university’s institutions and supporting efforts aimed at advancing the university environment
