College of Education for Women Participates in the Central Graduation Ceremony of the University of Baghdad, “The Excellence and Creativity Class”

Under the auspices of the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Prof. Dr. Naeem Al-Aboudi, and under the supervision of the President of the University of Baghdad, The College of Education for Women – University of Baghdad – participated in the central graduation ceremony of the 68th class, titled “The Excellence and Creativity Class,” for the graduates of the University of Baghdad.

The ceremony was attended by the Dean of the College of Education for Women, Prof. Dr. Athmar Al- Al-Shatri, accompanied by the Assistant Dean for Administrative Affairs, Prof. Ahmed Hashem, and a group of heads of departments and faculty members, who shared the joy of their students.

In her speech, the Dean stressed the College’s care of its graduates, and the constant willingness to empower university women and qualify them for the labor market, noting that this celebration represents the culmination of a career of continuous efforts, and embodies the College’s mission.

During the celebration, a speech was given by the Minister of Higher Education and the President of the University of Baghdad.  Then, processions of graduates and faculty members were followed to perform the university oath.

At the end of the ceremony, the Minister rewarded the top, stressing that the graduates are considered one of its priorities since they are the fruit of academic efforts and the process of scientific and cognitive construction.

The Creativity and Excellence ceremony (the sixty-eighth) embodies persistence and pride for University of Baghdad and its colleges, especially the College of Education for Women.
