On Monday morning, 29/7/2024, the National Committee for Combating Violent Extremism Leading to Terrorism and Achieving Community Cohesion honored the student Raghad Maytham Hussein from the College of Education for Women, Department of Educational and Psychological Sciences, for winning the best research in the competition for the best graduation research project in the field of combating violent extremism and hate speech, spreading the spirit of tolerance and building peace.
The student’s research Raghad Maytham Hussein, tagged “The Role of the Secondary School Administration in Confronting Violence from the Teachers’ Point of View” under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Nawal Ibrahim Mohamed”, was chosen as the best research at the Iraq level within the submitted research, which was evaluated by a committee of professors and specialized experts that was formed by the Department of Studies, Planning and Follow-up at the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research. The National Committee for Combating Violent Extremism Leading to Terrorism held its first annual conference to honor the winning students of the competition for the best five research papers specialized in combating violent extremism leading to terrorism and achieving societal cohesion.
