Department of Geography and Lifelong Learning Unit organized a joint workshop about (Green Economy and Sustainable Development). The event was held at the Department of Geography, on Wednesday, Feb. 22, 2023. Asst. Prof. Dr. Jinan Abdul–Ameer Abaas provided a definition of the notion of Green Economy. Dr. Abaas also elaborated on how Green Economy can support environmental sustainability and improve social condition.
