🟢 The College of Education for Women Organises a Tree-Planting Campaign to Promote Environmental Awareness and Sustainability
Under the patronage of the President of the University of Baghdad, Prof. Dr. Alaa Abdul Hassan Al-Zughaibi, and under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Education for Women, Prof. Dr. Athmar Shakir Majeed Al-Shattri, the Women’s Affairs Unit organised a tree-planting campaign on Wednesday, 28 October 2026, across the college premises.
❇️ The campaign highlighted the importance of tree planting and expanding green spaces, emphasising their role in promoting environmental awareness, fostering a culture of sustainability, and improving the university environment.
The campaign also aimed to raise environmental awareness, contribute to increasing green spaces, and enhance the university environment in ways that support environmental sustainability.
This initiative is part of the ongoing efforts of the Women’s Affairs Unit at the College of Education for Women to promote environmental awareness, reinforce the principles of sustainability, and encourage the preservation of the university environment.
