Prof. Dr. Abdullah Hameed Al-Ettaby published a paper titled “October the Third, 1932: The Story of Independent Iraq” on the occasion of the 90th anniversary of the independence of Iraq. The paper was published in Al-Sabah Journal on October 4, issue no. 5507. Al-Ettaby referred to the efforts of King Faisal I and his prime minister Nuri Al – Said to achieve the complete independence of Iraq and gain membership in League of Nations.
