Asst. Lect. Hussein Khalil Ibrahim, Dept. of Sociology, has published a book titled Iraqi Society and the Dialectic of Custom and Law: An Anthropological Study. The book is published in Al-Dhifaf publishing house, Baghdad and Sharjah, 2022. In 300 pages, the book describes and analyses social control of urban communities through local norms. This is examined in relation to the social and cultural changes after 2003.
