Department of Sociology hosted a symposium on (Public Health and Human Security), at the department hall, on March 26, 2023. The speakers mentioned that the spread of diseases impacts national security and global stability. This is because poor health has its consequences on the population well-being, and ultimately on the political and economic institutions of the country.
