Department of Kindergarten and Lifelong Learning Unit organized a joint workshop about (Bruner’s Spiral Curriculum), on October 10, at the lecture hall of the department. Asst. Prof. Dr. Anwar Fadhal Abdulwahab explained Jerome Bruner’s theory in Education. Bruner stated that children’s cognitive development influences their engagement in learning. Bruner argues that during the learning process, children should gradually discover the final form of a subject matter. The aim is to create autonomous learners.
