Under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Education for Women, Prof. Dr. Athmar Shaker Majeed Al-Shatri, the Department of Computer, in cooperation with the Scientific Affairs Unit, held its thirty-second scientific symposium tagged with: ((Digital Transformation and Future Professions))at eleven o’clock in the morning, on Monday, 20/1/2025, and at Al-Mustafa Hall, attended by a group of professors and students of the department, and lectured by Prof. Dr. Abdul Khuraibit Jassim from the University of Basra, College of Science, and a group of professors of the department.
The seminar aims to find out the following:
1- Knowing the concept of digital transformation 2- Monitoring the importance of digital transformation and its great role in determining the future of work
The symposium reached a set of recommendations, the most important of which are:
1. Digital transformation has a major role in reducing costs, saving time, ease of use, remote employment, increasing competition between companies, as well as increasing corporate productivity.
