Under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Education for Women, Asst. Prof. Dr. Athmar Shaker Majeed Al-Shatri, and under the supervision of the Director of the Library Division, Asst. Inst. Hanan Majeed Ali, the Division, in cooperation with the Continuing Education Unit, held a training workshop tagged with: ((Educational Competencies to be Available to Arabic Language Teachers)) on Monday, 24/3/2025 at ten o’clock in the morning, and in the hall of the Continuing Education Unit, and was attended by a group of professors, employees, and students of the College of Education for Women, and lectured: Asst. Inst. Lamia Nabil Mahmoud, and Asst. Inst. Rana Mounir Abdul Razzaq.
The training workshop aims to find out the following:
1. Preparing and developing the training competencies necessary for Arabic language teachers in the stages of education
2- Knowing the extent to which teachers possess training competencies and their importance
The workshop reached a set of recommendations, the most important of which are:
1. Conducting further studies regarding the educational competencies necessary for teachers of the Arabic language in the various academic stages and other grades.
2- Holding more training courses for Arabic language teachers to enable them to have the necessary educational competencies for them at various stages
