Under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Education for Women, Prof. Dr. Athmar Shaker Majeed Al-Shatri, and the supervision of the Head of the History Department, Prof. Dr. Abdullah Hamid Al-Attabi, the department, in cooperation with the Continuing Education Unit, held a training workshop tagged with: ((Islam and People with Special Needs)) at ten o’clock in the morning, on Wednesday, 21/1/2025, and at the hall of the History Department in the College of Education for Women, and it was attended by a group of professors and students of the department, and lectured by: Assoc. Prof. Ban Ali Mohammed and Assoc. Prof. Respected Mayassa Hatem.

The workshop aims to emphasize the importance of integrating people with special needs into society, and how to benefit from their energies and invest them to serve society and religion.
The workshop reached a set of recommendations:

1. Caring for people with special needs is one of the most important aspects of the greatness of Islam.
2. People with special needs are an important social group that must be integrated into society, and benefit from their energies and develop them.
