Dr. Athmar Al-Shatri received the Director of the Human Rights Office at the United Nations Mission in Iraq (UNAMI) and the Representative of the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights in Iraq, received Mr. Dimiter Shalev, with his accompanying delegation, On Tuesday, 30/1/2024, the meeting between the two sides included talking about the importance of human rights within the academic community, and the representative of the United Nations Mission (UNAMI) reviewed the exceptional success of the ceremony held by the College of Education for Girls to celebrate the International Human Rights Day on the seventy-fifth anniversary of its founding, held on 11/12/2023 at the University of Baghdad, which was achieved in partnership with us, and stressed in a hadith that the College of Education for Girls’ interest in the principles of human rights, its endeavor and interest in organizing the global celebration Human rights has met with great success through collective efforts and partnerships.
