Under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Education for Women, Asst. Prof. Dr. Athmar Shaker Majeed Al-Shatri, and under the supervision of the official of the Rehabilitation, Employment and Follow-up Unit, Asst. Inst. Iman Rahim Salem, the Rehabilitation and Employment Unit held a training workshop tagged: ((Promoting the values of integrity and transparency among university students)) on Monday, 24/3/2025, at eleven o’clock in the morning, and at Ibn Khaldun Hall in the Sociology Department, and was attended by a group of the department’s teachers, and several students of preliminary studies, and lectured in it: Asst. Inst. Aya Mohamed Abdel Rahman.
The training workshop aims to find out the following:
1- Knowing the concept of integrity and transparency.
2- Stating the objectives and importance of promoting the values of integrity and transparency among students.
3. Knowing ways to achieve these values and overcoming the obstacles that prevent their achievement.
The workshop reached a set of recommendations, the most important of which are:
1. The need to hold awareness workshops and seminars and publish educational materials to introduce the concept of integrity and transparency and to include these concepts in the school curriculum.
2. Activating the application of the laws in force and promoting a culture of reporting cases of corruption and violations.
