Under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Education for Women, Asst. Prof. Dr. Athmar Shaker Majeed Al-Shatri, and under the supervision of the  Head of the English Language Department, Asst. Prof. Dr. Wafaa Abdel Saheb, the department, in cooperation with the Continuing Education Unit, held a training workshop tagged: “Interactive Chat with Artificial Intelligence” at eleven o’clock in the morning on Monday, 17-3-2025, and at the Graduate Studies Hall in the English Language Department, in which each of the following lectured: Asst. Prof. Iman Adel Jaafar, and Asst. Prof. Nibras Jawad Kazim.

The training workshop aims to find out the following:

1- How to improve the learning experience by using chat with artificial intelligence as a supporting tool for students in understanding school materials, solving exercises, and searching for information.

2- How to enhance critical thinking skills, and train students to ask effective questions and analyze artificial intelligence responses to verify their validity.

3- How to stimulate self-learning and help students acquire knowledge independently without absolute dependence on the teacher.

4- Qualitative data analysis and assisting researchers in classifying and analyzing data from interviews and questionnaires through artificial intelligence tools.

The workshop reached a set of recommendations, the most important of which are:

1. Encourage the use of artificial intelligence tools to enhance teaching and learning.

2- Do not rely on artificial intelligence as the only source of information, because it may provide inaccurate or biased answers.

3- The need to always verify information by comparing it with reliable sources
