Under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Education for Girls, Assistant Professor Dr. Ithmar Shaker Majeed Al-Shatri, and the supervision of the Head of the English Department, Asst. Prof. Dr. Wafaa Abdel Saheb, the department, in cooperation with the Continuing Education Unit, held the training workshop tagged: (Basic Interactive Cloud Tools for the Professor) on Tuesday, 1/7/2025, and in the audio laboratory hall of the English Department, in which Prof. Dr. Nariman Jabbar Rashid and Asst. Inst. Esraa Amer Mahmoud lectured.
The workshop aims to find out the following:
1- The capabilities of free cloud services, specifically available through the official university account applications.
2- Knowing the importance of the interactive feature with the audience provided by these segments.
3. Knowledge of cloud computing and its relationship to cloud services, and where cloud data is stored, and managed.
The workshop reached a set of recommendations, the most important of which are:
1- Promote the use of cloud tools.
2- Encouraging professors and students to integrate cloud tools into the educational process.
3- Promote teamwork among students through the use of tools such as Google Slides.
