Sponsored by the Dean of the College of Education for Women Dr. Athmar Shaker Majeed AL-Shatri, The department held a scientific workshop titled “Harnessing the Power of Listening in Learning the Second Language”on Monday morning, 25-3-2024 in one of the department’s halls , lectured by: Asst.Prof Iman Adel Jaafar, Asst.Lect Nadia Hikmat Fares. The scientific workshop aimed to shed light on how to learn the second language through the skill of listening and introduce the participants to the skill of listening and what are the ways that work to enhance and benefit from it to learn any foreign language, especially English.
