Department of Computer Sciences held a workshop about (Artificial Intelligence: a Threat or Help to Humanity), at the Dept.’s M.A. Lecture Hall, on April 17, 2023. The speakers in the workshop explained that AI is meant to make the quality of human life better and the achievement of daily tasks easier. AI is supposed to gradually become an integral part of human life. However, AI also imposes some challenges like more human beings losing their jobs, autonomous weapons, and Cyber insecurity. Finally, the speakers emphasized of creating AI safety culture.
