Department of Geography organized a workshop about (The Requirements of Implementing ITS in Iraq), at the Department of Geography, on Wednesday, Jan. 11, 2023. Asst. Prof. Dr. Samah Sabah Alwan provided a definition of intelligent transport system, emphasized that it is applicable to road transport, and explained its importance in traffic management. Dr. Alwan elaborated on the features of ITS and the technology needed to implement it in Iraq.<\/h4>\n
