Prof. Dr. Athmar Shaker Majeed Al-Shatri, and under the supervision of the Head of the Department of Educational and Psychological Sciences, Asst. Prof. Dr. Maysoon Hamed Taher, the department held the awareness workshop tagged ((Drugs, Their Types, Trade, Risks \/ Psychological, Social and Legal Aspects)) at eleven o’clock in the morning on Wednesday, 26\/3\/2025, and at Al-Mustafa Hall, in which Prof. Dr. Abdul Ghaffar Abdul Jabbar Al-Qaisi lectured, and was attended by a group of professors and students.<\/p>\n

The awareness workshop aims at the following:<\/p>\n

1- Knowing drugs, their types, trade, and dangers.<\/p>\n

2- How to protect society, youth and students from drugs.<\/p>\n

3- Psychological, social and legal aspects of this phenomenon.<\/p>\n

The workshop reached a set of recommendations, the most important of which are:<\/p>\n

1- Education and awareness through workshops, seminars, and organizing events to educate families and the community about the risks they may fall into.<\/p>\n

2- Beware of promoters and bad people who try to trap young people in various ways.<\/p>\n

3- Enhancing and strengthening family communication by opening dialogues and discussions and listening to children with understanding by understanding their needs and fears[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column]
