Under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Education for Women, Prof. Dr. Athmar Shaker Majeed Al-Shatri, and the supervision of the Head of the Arabic Language Department, Prof. Dr. Atheer Muhammad Shehab, the Department of Arabic Language held the scientific workshop tagged: ((The Future of the Short Story)) on Wednesday, 15\/1\/2024 at eleven o’clock in the morning, at the Continuing Education Hall, attended by a group of professors, employees, and students of the faculty, in which Prof. Dr. Atheer, the respected Shehab Bath, and Eng. Asst. Inst. Rasha Zeidan Khalaf lectured.<\/p>\n

The workshop aims to find out the following:<\/p>\n

1- Know the concept of the short story.<\/p>\n

2- Statement of the topics of the short story.<\/p>\n

3- How to include interesting and entertaining events with sublime meanings in the short story<\/p>\n

The workshop reached a set of recommendations, the most important of which are:<\/p>\n

1- Developing writing skills in the art of the short story.<\/p>\n

2- Paying attention to the contents of the short story to create an exciting atmosphere for the reader.<\/p>\n

3- The need to circulate new ideas to extract creative experiences in writing stories[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column]
