Supervised by the Dean of the College of Education for Women Asst.Prof.Dr. Athmar Shaker Majeed AL-Shatri, In cooperation with the Center for Women’s Studies,\u00a0 the Women’s Empowerment Unit held the scientific workshop titled “The role of the international community in combating violence against women”, on Tuesday, 28\/11\/2023\u00a0 , in the discussion hall. The workshop aimed to Talk about the historical context of the emergence of international legal laws criminalizing violence against women from the beginning of the twentieth century to the present time, the history of the struggle of battered women in the world to obtain their stolen rights, and how to oblige states to apply these legislations and laws.<\/span><\/p>\n
